Christmas morning came and there under the tree was a Red Ryder BB gun. My imagination ran wild and I begged my Dad to take me outside right now to shoot cans. I still have it and the memories that followed.
Some things never change although we do. The excitement of getting an outdoors gift is still as fresh as Christmas snow.
This year I received a new Harness for tree stand hunting. Gifts like this make me wish I was hunting and lucky for me I’ve got a treestand waiting for me and three weeks left to bowhunt in the river bottom.
