Want to spend your summer bettering Montana outdoors? There are several volunteer positions available with Montana State Parks through the AmeriCorps program. For more information visit: http://stateparks.mt.gov/americorps/

 

Our members serve at state parks and regional offices across the state of Montana. As a Montana State Parks AmeriCorps member, you will likely spend time:

  • Bringing lessons to life for children as you help strengthen Montana State Parks as an outdoor classroom
  • Honing your interpretive skills as you develop a trail guide, interpretive sign or give a campfire presentation
  • Instilling a sense of stewardship in local community members as you organize volunteer events and promote volunteer opportunities
  • Undergoing the experience of a lifetime as you share your skills and abilities with Montana State Parks, the local community and the nation through AmeriCorps

Montana State Parks AmeriCorps only accepts applications through my.americorps.gov.

Please note: there is only one application for Spring-Summer and Summer-Fall 675 Hour Positions; placement preference will be assessed during the interview process.

Team Leader and 1700 Hour Positions have been filled for 2017.
