Want to spend your summer bettering Montana outdoors? There are several volunteer positions available with Montana State Parks through the AmeriCorps program. For more information visit: http://stateparks.mt.gov/americorps/

Our members serve at state parks and regional offices across the state of Montana. As a Montana State Parks AmeriCorps member, you will likely spend time:

Bringing lessons to life for children as you help strengthen Montana State Parks as an outdoor classroom
Honing your interpretive skills as you develop a trail guide, interpretive sign or give a campfire presentation
Instilling a sense of stewardship in local community members as you organize volunteer events and promote volunteer opportunities
Undergoing the experience of a lifetime as you share your skills and abilities with Montana State Parks, the local community and the nation through AmeriCorps

What is AmeriCorps?

AmeriCorps engages more than 50,000 Americans each year in intensive service to meet community needs in education, the environment, public safety, homeland security, and other areas.

AmeriCorps allows you to put your ideals into action while learning new skills, making new connections, and earning money for education.

AmeriCorps is funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service, an independent federal agency and administered in Montana, through the Governor’s Office of Community Service.
