Want to spend your summer bettering Montana outdoors? There are several volunteer positions available with Montana State Parks through the AmeriCorps program. For more information visit:


Our members serve at state parks and regional offices across the state of Montana. As a Montana State Parks AmeriCorps member, you will likely spend time:

  • Bringing lessons to life for children as you help strengthen Montana State Parks as an outdoor classroom
  • Honing your interpretive skills as you develop a trail guide, interpretive sign or give a campfire presentation
  • Instilling a sense of stewardship in local community members as you organize volunteer events and promote volunteer opportunities
  • Undergoing the experience of a lifetime as you share your skills and abilities with Montana State Parks, the local community and the nation through AmeriCorps
