In the first of what is a planned $150 million investment in Big Sky Resort, skiers and snowboarders this season have been enjoying the new Powder Seeker lift into The Bowl. The six-passenger chair takes skiers to the base of Lone Mountain, where they can hop on the Lone Peak Tram to ascend to the top of the 11,166-foot peak. Although only a three minute ride, the Powder Seeker has a bunch of bells and whistles including heated seats and a plastic bubble that drops down to break the wind.
