Canyon Ferry: Ice around the shoreline has pulled back a bit with the warmer weather.  Lots of water on ice along the shoreline. Fishing for trout is decent whether you’re laying a tip-up or jigging in about 20-35 FOW. Be cautious out there and pay close attention to ice conditions.

Hauser: Black Sandy is fishable with 10” of ice right now and guys have been hooking up with Walleye and Perch.  For guys looking for the Perch try fishing out from the campground in about 40-50 FOW.  If you’re after some trout lay lines about 10’ below the ice.  We’d recommend some blue Swedish Pimples or a red slender spoon tipped with nightcrawlers or a maggot about 10’ and chasing it up.  The ice is thinner near open water so steer clear and be careful.
