Hunter’s ed slated for Columbia Falls

he Spring Hunter Education course has been scheduled for Columbia Falls.

All students must register online at the FWP website: fwp.mt.gov; click education, then click hunter education.  Detailed instructions will be found at the class site.

Orientation: All students must attend an orientation on March 21, anytime between the hours of 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to pick up student manuals and get course instructions. The orientation is held at Columbia Falls High School.

Classes are held 7-9 p.m. at Columbia Falls High School on April 3, 4, 6, 10, 11, 13; Field course is Saturday, April 15; Test night is April 17.

All hunter education classes are free of charge.  By state law, anyone born after January 1, 1985, must have completed the Hunter Education Course to buy a hunting license in Montana.  A student must be at least 10 years old to take the course.
