Forest Service crews will be felling dead trees on National Forest Systems land adjacent to Highway 2 on Tuesday and Wednesday March 28 and 29 to lessen the threat of dead trees falling onto Highway 2.

In coordination with Montana Department of Transportation, motorists on Highway 2 will experience temporary closures of up to 10 minutes from the junction of Highway 2 and Continental drive to Pipestone Pass on March 28 and from Pipestone Pass to Nineteen mile (mile marker 65) on March 29.  Temporary road closures are anticipated to start at 9:30 a.m. and last until 3:30 p.m. each day.
