5 Montana Hikes that Won’t Strain your Knees: Brett French Radio Show Preview

Sometimes it’s fun to take a hike that’s easy, relaxing and not a complete body workout – especially if you’re traveling with youngsters or older folks. Montana’s blessed with a lot of such places, but I picked out five spread across the state to highlight a few cool areas, including the Island Lake trail atop the Beartooth Plateau and the South Fork of the Sun River, just west of Augusta. Unfortunately, these aren’t the kind of places you want to visit if you’re looking for solitude, although it often helps to hit such sites during the week to avoid crowds.
