The Butte Forest Service office located on 1820 Meadowlark Lane is undergoing office remodeling that has resulted in closing the front doors and relocating the front entrance to the east portion of the building. Signs on the front door and along the east walkway point to the new entrance.
This temporary arrangement will last through May but will not affect the office hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Mon. through Fri.) nor disrupt any incoming calls or walk-in visitors. We will still be selling firewood permits, maps and passes. Firewood permits may also be purchased at Bob Ward’s and Ace Hardware.
