Hunter Education Class Scheduled for Libby

A Hunter Education Class has been scheduled for Libby beginning Wednesday, May 31 at Libby Elementary School.   The class is free of charge.  By state law, anyone born after January 1, 1985, must have completed the Hunter Education Course to buy a hunting license in Montana.  A student must be at least 10 years old to take the course.

All students must register online at the FWP website: fwp.mt.gov; click education, then click hunter education.  Detailed instructions will be found at the site.

The first class and orientation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 6:30-9 p.m.  Classes continue each evening on June 5, 6, 7,8,12, 13, 14, and 15 from 6:30-9 p.m.  These class dates include the field exercises.
