Time: Friday, May 26th at 8:00pm
Location: Outdoor Amphitheatre at Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park
(Whitehall, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) is excited for the first edition of its 2017 Friday Evening programs at Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park this Friday, May 26th from 8 to 9pm.
With honey bee populations in decline, it is crucial that we protect the bees we have left. Join Brian Turner as he discusses the key differences between Montana’s bees and wasps to help keep you safe! After you can distinguish between wasps and bees, you will get hands on and build your own Mason Bee house.
Brian will also discuss the important role that honey bees play in crop pollination highlighting the need to conserve the bees. Brian is an AmeriCorps member serving with Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park and is very excited to share his love for bees with you!
