There are hunting products on the market aimed at making hunters better, more efficient and knowledgeable.
Everything from high-tech clothing material that wicks away moisture 300% faster than wool to bow sights that take all the guess work out of where to aim from any angle.
As a nation wide hunting community we are gobbling this stuff up providing more incentive to push the envelope on hunting technology. This video from Whitetail Habitat Solutions shows the marriage of hard work and dedication like hanging tree stands and trail cameras in the summer to high tech equipment like a “deer laboratory” that spits out information about the effects of temperature, wind, weather and more on deer movement patterns.
There’s no doubt that the information is useful in helping hunters understand our quarry but does it cross the line of hard work and hands on knowledge or is it good for hunters and hunting?
Check out this video and let us know what you think about this level of technology being incorporated into hunting. Too much or too cool?
