Hebgen Lake’s Kirkwood Marina sent us this most recent fishing report for Hebgen Lake:

Fishing has cooled ever so slightly at Hebgen Lake.  Many anglers are still catching multiple fish.  Hot spots seem to be in near the narrows,  Trappers and trolling north of Firehole ranch.  Success has been seen using Needlefish and Rapalas and spoons and spinners with pink or chartreuse.  Bait fisherman are still catching with Night crawlers from the shore and fly fishing is still productive here at the tail end of the Midge hatch.  Clear cold water still needs caution from all anglers.  There is twice as much water coming into the lake as the outflow so shorelines are changing daily.  Hebgen is about 2 feet below full pool and water temp is 51 degrees.
