Keith Esmay caught  the pictured 20-inch 4lb Kokanee salmon on Hauser Reservoir on Sunday. He was trolling Cow Bells, a smiley blade and crawler.  You probably already know that Hauser also holds the current state record for kokanee salmon.  The record was caught back in 2003 by John Bomar on September 23rd of that year and it was 26.8 inches long and weighed 7.85 pounds.  Bomar was fishing with a jig.

Nice job, Keith!
