The Forest Service is looking for volunteer hosts to help run Sheepshead recreation area this summer.
Volunteer hosts would help keep the areas clean and greet visitors coming to recreate at these areas. In exchange, at Sheepshead, the Forest Service offers the host a private place to park a trailer with water and sewer hookups. The Forest Service will also provide all equipment and cleaning supplies.
Sheepshead recreation area lies 20 miles north of Butte in Elk Park and is open from June 15 through Labor Day.
If you are interested in hosting, contact Jocelyn Dodge at (406) 494-0246, or go online to www.fs.usda.gov/bdnf, or www.volunteer.gov to find out more about volunteer opportunities.
