Bugle Corps (by Brett French)
Whether you are an elk hunter or simply like to watch wildlife, there’s nowhere quite like the Slippery Ann Elk Viewing Area in the Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge. Each fall more than 100 head of elk pour into the bottom land along the Missouri River south of Malta to mate, rut and display. The concentration of elk draws people from around the state and region.
