Canyon Ferry: Rainbow trout are being caught from shore using worms or Powerbait near the outhouse, Shannon, and the Silos.  Walleye anglers continue to have success trolling, using a worm harnesses tipped with worms, throughout the south end of the reservoir in 15 to 30 feet of water. Walleye and yellow perch are being caught from shore near the Silos using worms. Adam Strainer, FWP, Helena

Hauser:  Rainbows fishing is really good from both shore and boat.  Trolling cowbells around the Black Sandy-White Sandy area and York Bridge has been productive.  Fishing from shore for rainbows at the Causeway Bridge has been very productive while using worms, marshmallows or wooly buggers.  Walleye and perch fishing are slow.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena

Holter:  Rainbow fishing is good while trolling cowbells or perch colored crankbaits from Split Rock to Holter Dam.  Rainbows are being caught from shore on worms at Holter Lake Ramp and Log Gulch. Perch fishing has slowed down with a few being caught around the docks at the boat ramps in 8 to 12 feet of water while using jigs and worms.  Walleye fishing is slow.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena
