Serve state parks with Montana AmeriCorps!

Montana State Parks AmeriCorps is looking for 11 individuals to serve in Montana State Parks beginning in January!

Every AmeriCorps member receives a living stipend and more than $5,000 to put toward education or qualified educational loans.

The program is an integral park of the Montana State Park system and a great foot in the door for those hoping to enter the natural resource or interpretive field. Apply today!

AmeriCorps engages more than 50,000 Americans each year in intensive service to meet community needs in education, the environment, public safety, homeland security, and other areas.

AmeriCorps allows you to put your ideals into action while learning new skills, making new connections, and earning money for education.

AmeriCorps is funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service, an independent federal agency and administered in Montana, through the Governor’s Office of Community Service.

Member Benefits
Each AmeriCorps member earns an Education Award, which can be used to attend college or pay student loans. Members who are 55 years or older can transfer the Education Award to a child, grandchild, or foster child. All Montana State Parks AmeriCorps members will receive a modest living allowance to help cover incidental costs, such as commuting. Full-time AmeriCorps members are eligible for loan deferment, health care benefits, and child care assistance.
