Canyon Ferry: Rainbow trout are being caught from shore using worms or spoons near the Outhouse, Confederate, and north of the Silos.  Not much to report about walleye due to high winds, but some continue to be caught trolling cranks throughout the south end and mid-reservoir in 15 to 30 feet of water. A few yellow perch are being caught from shore around the Silos using worms. Adam Strainer, FWP, Helena

Hauser:  Rainbow fishing is very good while trolling cowbells in the Causeway and around the Black Sandy-White Sandy area.  Fishing from shore at the Causeway Bridge is also very good for rainbows while using worms, marshmallows or wooly buggers.  A few walleye are being caught around Devil’s Elbow and in the Causeway while jigging.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena

Holter:  Rainbow fishing is very good in the lower reservoir while trolling cowbells or crankbaits in perch or silver colors.  Rainbows are being caught from shore on worms or flies at Gates of the Mountains. Perch and walleye fishing are slow.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena
