The Seeley Lake Ranger District is advising hunters to be aware of workers around the burn area of the Rice Ridge Fire.

Workers will continue post fire recovery and repair work through the fall. They’ll be mostly within or adjacent to the fire’s perimeter, particularly on the south side of the perimeter up to Monture Creek, said a Lolo National Forest news release.

Signs will be placed on gates over roads where crews are working to warn hunters of their presence.
