In late September Mike Dominick hooked and landed what should be the new Montana State Record for Smallmouth Bass on Fort Peck that weighed in at 7.51 pounds and should be enough to take the Montana State Record.
The current Montana State Record for Smallmouth Bass is 7.4 pounds held by Jacob Fowler caught in Flathead Lake.
Mike Dominick caught and released his 7.51 pound Smallmouth and the record is currently being reviewed.
