Three Wolf Management Units are closed, and 73 wolves have been harvested to date in Montana. Wolf trapping season opens on December 15th, so if you don’t have your wolf trapping certification, be sure you sign up for that before you trap, as it is required. If you already have an Idaho wolf trapping certificate, then you are good to go here, too.
