Just when you think finding a flashlight that is easily rechargeable…without electricity….is impossible, the Hydralight infomercial shows up! So, this flashlight can supposedly be recharged in three steps…with WATER. First, here’s a summary of the flashlight from Hydralight.com:
I would probably buy one of these, but I would guess the light doesn’t shine super bright–but, that’s okay with me. I might even be wrong, but I noticed they don’t refer to how many lumens are involved with the HydraLight. It also states the flashlight has a 25-year shelf life.
There seem to be not so great reviews and some great reviews, so it is hard to say at this point. Might as well try it yourself if you have an extra $30 for a flashlight that can be recharged with water supposedly. Hey, why not? Seems like a good stocking stuffer if it works.
