The hunting of mountain lions will close one half hour after sunset Thursday in six hunting districts in Region 3.
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will close mountain lion hunting in HD 318, 335, 323, 324, 325 and 327. The closure was prompted by FWP receiving notification that the pre-established quota had been met in those districts.
The harvest of female mountain lion closed last week in HD 350 and HD 370.
