The entry fee is $15 and you may pre-register at Froggies in Valier or at Robert’s Bait in Great Falls. Derby Day registration will begin at 6:00am at the Firemen’s Pavilion at Lake Frances and at 6:00am at One Stop. Fishing begins at 8:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm. No entry tickets sold after 10:30am. There will be 100 % payout. Derby prizes and raffle winners will be announced at 3:30 pm. Prizes are for first three largest pike and first three largest perch plus largest fish for kids ages 14 and under.
There will be a lot of nice raffle prizes available including propane ice auger and a Vexilar FL 18 Pro PackII & 12″ Ice Ducer!
Last year’s payout was over $4000 total! 1st place each species paid $1035. I think this is the first Ice Fishing Derby in Montana in 2018- Get your year started right!
