Turkey season is nearly upon us and hunters who wish to draw a special turkey hunting license are almost out of time to submit an application.
The deadline for special license applications is Thursday. Two special permits are available for spring turkey season and in very limited numbers.
There are five 400-20 permits available for hunting in Toole, Liberty, Pondera and Teton Counties, as well as the portion of Choteau County north of the Missouri River and west of the Marias River. Fifteen 445-20 licenses will be drawn allowing for hunting in Cascade County. For more information and applications click here.
