To tell the real story of our public lands, we need your help.
Please take a few minutes to share one of your most memorable forest
experiences in 500 words or less. It can be about camping, hiking,
hunting, fishing, wildlife, wildflowers, geology or any topic relating to
an outdoor adventure.
We will share your stories with other forest users to help create a
greater understanding of what public land means to each and every
forest visitor. There will be two categories: Youth* (up to 17 years old);
and General (18 years and beyond). Complete contest details and rules
are at www.fs.usda.gov/helena/. A winner from each category will
be selected and will get two free nights at the Helena-Lewis and Clark
National Forest’s Indian Meadows Cabin.
Send your story by March 31, 2018 to:
Montana Discovery Foundation,
Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest
2880 Skyway Drive, Helena, Montana 59602
or call 406-495-3747 for more information.
*A legal guardian must sign and submit the story for all youth submissions.
