Connect to Kalispell outdoors

Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) will host a Connect to Kalispell Open House at Lone Pine State Park on Friday, March 23rd from 5pm to 8pm.

Whether you are new to the Flathead Valley or are a long-time resident, come greet your neighbors, meet park staff, and learn how Lone Pine State Park and its partners can be a resource to you. Get information on future park programs and events, volunteer opportunities, and Lone Pine partner organizations. Park staff and representatives of Flathead Lake State Park; Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks; Montana Conservation Corps; Flathead Valley Archers; Big Sky Astronomy Club; Flathead Audubon Society and Montana Coffee Traders will be in attendance.

Lone Pine State Park is located 5 miles southwest of Kalispell and offers one of the most vivid views of the valley, 7.5 miles of trails, and a beautiful interpretive center that provides information on living in a wildlife urban interface.  Additional amenities include a picnic shelter and a community room, which are both available to rent, as well as a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, and an archery range. Furthermore, Lone Pine offers a fantastic variety of educational and interpretive programs.
