Log Haul Begins Near Philipsburg

The Pintler Ranger District is advising travelers in the Middle Fork Rock Creek area that log removal has begun southwest of Philipsburg.  These log decks were created during fire suppression activities from the Meyers Fire in 2017.

Through 2018, travelers to this area are advised to drive cautiously due to log truck traffic and heavy machinery traveling the roads. There may be short delays along County Road #80 (Copper Creek Road) and Forest Service roads #5106 (Moose Lake road) and #5121 (Lone Pine road).

For additional information contact the Pintler Ranger District in Philipsburg at (406) 859-3211.
