Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) will delay the opening of Lost Creek State Park near Anaconda, MT due to extreme winter snowpack. Typically, the park opens for the season on May 1, but heavy snowfall still blocks the access road to the park.

Park access conditions will be re-evaluated in early May with a tentative park opening in mid-May. The opening date will be announced following the evaluation. The Montana state Parks apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks for the public for their patience.
