The Captain and his daughter Maris, who was visiting from out of state went fishing on Lake Mary Ronan on Monday. Maris told her dad that it didn’t matter if the fish were biting, she just wanted to spend some time together.

Well, the salmon were biting, and they had a great time. They fished in 25 feet of water using raw shrimp, maggots, and shrimp oil on a red/orange glow hook 4 inches below a pink swedish pimple. They were jigging aggressively to catch active fish. The biggest salmon was nearly 13 and 1/2 inches, most were in the 12 inch range.
