Flathead Lake
Getting reports of Lake Whitefish in Elmo and Big Arm bay. 40’-60’ of water and good numbers. Perch also hitting down at the south end in 40’ of water. Polson Bay area also doing well for Perch and Small Mouth Bass.

North End / Delta
Good trolling for Lake Trout. The fish are suspended 35’-60’. Trolling flashers and Brad’s Super Baits in Perch or Fire Tiger colors. Add some maple sausage inside of the Brad’s bait for an extra bite.

Flathead River Mainstem
Was fishing well before the big storm on 6/29. But should be getting back to that now. Large Royal Wolff, Red Humphries and Stimulators mostly. Nice Cutts up to 20”. If you are spin fishing, try your Panther Martins and Rooster tails. All forks are fishing well with the same patterns.

Lake Mary Ronan
Excellent Perch action in the early mornings, down about 20’. Few Salmon reports as well.

Swan Lake
Good Pike down at the South End. Use large plugs, Johnson Silver Minnows. The Lake Trout are hanging near the highway. Trolling large spoons seems to be the ticket here.

Smith Lake
Good Pike, lots of small ones. Try black spinnerbaits.

Island Lake
Lots of small Perch – 7”-10”. Few good Bass and lots of small Pike.

Little McGregor
Perch action good – 8”-11” fish. Some Brookies and Rainbows as well.

Hungry Horse Reservoir
Water is clearing up nicely. Hearing reports of some nice Cutts trolling with Thomas Cyclone or Flicker Shads. Try large plugs for Bulls.

Lower Stillwater
Lots of 2-5lb Pike. Some nice Perch up to 12” and a few Lake Trout.

Bitterroot Lake
Salmon action is slowing down. Try trolling North End near Island. 3 color lead core with small dodger and LMR Fly.

Ashley Lake
Nice Perch – 20’ water near the weed beds. Troll small spoons along shoreline for Rainbows. Jigging is still good for the Salmon.
