The entire Park is finally open to fishing. The last traces of the Salmon Flies are from Hayden Valley to the Lake. The Lamar is in great shape now and is slowly dropping each day. The dry fly action is just beginning but it will increase fast. The Drakes are hatching on Slough and the Lamar. The meadows are filled with hoppers and we are seeing flying ants crawling in the trees. It won’t be long until they are eating terrestrials. The west side of the Park has shifted into PMD season and evening caddis. Stimulators are a good match now for a double fly rig.
