(Seeley Lake, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) will host Animal Wonders at Placid Lake State Park on Saturday, August 18 at 7pm.

You don’t have to go far to find some of the most spectacular animals in the world—Animal Wonders, located in Missoula, is coming to Placid Lake. Founders Jessi and Augusto Castañeda will talk about their exotic and native animals and bring several of them for visitors to meet.

Animal Wonders was founded in 2008 to fulfill Jessi and Augusto’s dream of sharing the wonders of wildlife with the public. Having already rescued over 30 animals, Jessi and Augusto wanted to ensure the animals a permanent home and provide a haven for others in need. Most of the animal residents were displaced from their homes and adopted by Animal Wonders, where they will have a life-long home filled with love and attention to their specific needs.

This FREE presentation is great for all ages, and will be held at Placid Lake State Park group use picnic area (behind site 22). For more information call (406) 677-6804.
