KPAX recently reported that the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Parks are still looking for information about the shooting death of a grizzly bear.
Some hunters in Teton County discovered the bear carcass on the Boone and Crockett Ranch and was retrieved on September 4th. The bear is believed to have been shot from the West Gypsy Basin Rd earlier this year in the spring.
If you have any information, please call Service Special Agent at 406-761-2286 or 1-800-TIP-MONT. Callers can remain anonymous, and a reward of up to $2000 may be available for information leading to a conviction.
