492 CFS @ Gateway – The Gallatin River is in perfect condition for fall fishing. Good afternoon baetis hatches have made for some decent dry fly fishing in the slower runs but nymph fishing or slow stripping a small streamer have been the most productive. Fish have started to move to the slower pockets and deeper runs with the cooler water temps.
