Holter Trout Fishing Is RED HOT!

The Captain and Downrigger fished Holter Tuesday.  They heard it was good trout fishing, and what they heard was correct. Trout were biting on a variety of lures. Long lines of mono 110 feet at 2 miles per hour worked the best.  Fish seemed to be about 12-20 foot depth over 60-90 feet of water.

Everybody else must be hunting, because they only saw a few boats fishing.

The boat slips are still in at the lower campground and Log Gulch campground.  There is no fee for camping, but there are also no facilities or garbage, either.
The weather was great–fall temps with highs in the 60’s and very little wind.

Nice!
