WANTED! A Few Good Fishing Rods!
By Montana Grant

Posted: January 10, 2019

Unused fishing rods, tackle, and gear is a waste! Here is an opportunity to clear out some space and donate this used gear to a kid.

Montana Grant is gathering up all the unused tackle, gear, lures, vests, fly rods, fly tying materials and spinning rods that he can find. He reconditions, repairs, and redistributes all this wonderful stuff at local fishing derbies. Working rods and reels are filled with new line and are rigged and ready to fish. Lures, tackle boxes and other hats, nets, and accessories are placed into Grab Bags and given to the clubs and agencies that manage these new fishermen events.

Giving a rod and reel to a kid is a great way to excite them about fishing. You may also see Montana Grant volunteering at these events to teach others how to celebrate fishing.

Montana Grant will be performing at the Great Rockies Sport Shows this season.

Drop off your donated fishing rods, gear, and tackle at his seminars, fly tying theater, or at the ticket booth. You can also hook up with him at www.montanagrant08@gmail.com. He can meet you or pick up gear at your convenience.

Last season, over 20 rigged rods and reels were handed out along, with more than 50 Grab Bags, and other goodies. The fishing derby kids went home with more than a good time.

Give a kid the gift of fishing fun!
