Montana FWP Prairie Bear Monitor posted this today, April 30th:

Subadult grizzly bear observed feeding on bone pile northwest of Power near the crossroads of 11th road NE and 13th lane NE. We could not make it there before dark so we advised landowner to notify neighbors and then safely deter the bear from near people and herds using a honking vehicle. The vehicle deterrence method is approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as long as it is done safely, not in excess, and the bear can’t be injured because they are still federally protected. Please be safe and bear aware.
