Missoula, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) announced today that Council Grove State Park is now open to vehicle access. Vehicle access to the park had been closed due to road conditions and deep snow drifts.

Snow has almost completely melted on park grounds and road conditions have improved; however, roadway edges are soggy and should be avoided. The Clark Fork River is fast moving and steadily rising with spring runoff. Visitors are reminded to use caution when walking near the river or on the beach area.
