Canyon Ferry:  Rainbow trout are being caught from shore between the Outhouse and Kim’s Marina using leech flies or bead head nymphs.  There is still not a lot of rainbows cruising the shorelines. Not many boats got out to try rainbow and walleye fishing due to the weather.  A few walleye are being caught around Ponds 1 & 2 in 4 to 12 feet of water on jigs or bottom bouncers with crawler rigs.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena

Hauser:  Rainbow fishing is good while trolling cowbells or rapalas around the Causeway and York Bridge.  Shore fishing is producing rainbows at York Bridge and the Causeway Bridge on wooly buggers or egg flies.   Walleye and perch fishing are slow.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena

Holter:  Rainbows are stacked up at the ramps and shore fishing is very good at Gates of the Mountains, Holter Lake Ramp and Log Gulch while using wooly buggers, egg flies or prince nymphs.  Boat anglers are finding rainbows near the surface while trolling cowbells or spoons.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena
