All the lakes are open and ready for you to get out and enjoy! Don’t forget your life jackets!

Ashley Lake
Trolling for Salmon is best this time of year. Use a Wedding Ring lure behind Cow Bells around 15-20ft below water surface.

Bitterroot Lake
Rainbows should be close to spawning cycle, so use a planer board and troll with a flicker shad in 10-15ft of water.

Blanchard Lake
Perch are ready to spawn so look for large patches of weeds in shallow water. Crappie bite should be picking up so use Pete’s Crappie Candy casting in different depths.

Church Slough
Water levels are still low so use caution launching your boat.

Echo Lake
Be prepared to use different tactics from Crank Baits to Finesse Plastics. Big Sky Bass Bash on 04/27. Reports of a few Crappie using Pete’s Big Eye Spinner and Crappie Candy.

Fennon Slough
Use extreme caution when entering. The river is getting dirty making the sand bar difficult to see.

Flathead Lake
Lake Trout are being caught throughout the lake. Troll with a Red/White Flat Fish along the bottom. Jig with Glo Grubs and cut bait. Perch bite is doing very well in East Bay. Remember you can only keep 10 Perch over 10”!

Flathead River
Water levels have been on the rise and continues to get dirtier daily. Use caution when floating and stay clear of obstacles. Nymphs are working well.

Hungry Horse Reservoir
Roads are still snowed in.

Koocanusa
Water levels are extremely low at Rexford launch. Reports of nice Rainbows using jointed Rapala’s in rainbow pattern.

Lake Mary Ronan
Perch should be spawning soon so focus on shallow areas with lots of weeds or structure.

McGregor Lake
Good numbers of Lake Trout in 80ft of water trolling with Brad’s Cut Plugs. Combine that with an e-chip flasher for maximum effect.

Smith Lake
Perch are biting well and remember only 10 Perch over 10”.

Pine Grove Pond
Best way to catch the ‘bows are a simple worm under a bobber.

Additional comment for Foys Lake by Kota Farrar: Rainbows are spawning there as well. Still no dock.
