Chatfield, MN – The Pope and Young Club is proud to announce the launch of the new Big Game Records Search. For the first time, anyone can now access the Pope and Young records data on North American big game species. There are two levels to choose from; one is the free, basic search, which gives you access to the listings by species and hunters name. The second level is available by subscription and offers specific details about the animal’s score, state, and county harvest location. The full subscription is available to anyone for an introductory fee of $35 per year. All proceeds go to the Club’s Conservation, Education and Outreach fund established to promote the conservation of habitat and wildlife in North America and to protect our shared bowhunting heritage.

“I am very excited about the new Pope and Young Club Big Game Records Search,” stated Ed Fanchin, Records Chair for the Pope and Young Club. “Users will be able to search the entire Records Program database of over 115,000 record book entries and millions of data points. It will be a valuable research and scouting tool available at your fingertips. The possibilities are endless.”

The Trophy Database is located on the top left side of the Pope and Young Club website (www.pope-young.org) homepage. Click on the “Online Trophy Database” link and choose either the basic search or sign up for the full subscription. The full subscription gives you access to over 3 million data points of detailed information pertaining to North American big game animals harvested with a bow and arrow.

“The Pope and Young Club has just created our new online Big Game Records Search, stated Jim Willems, Pope and Young Club President. “This allows anyone to view the Pope and Young records entries. If you choose the subscription, you can search the largest bowhunting big game database in North America. This is the most powerful scouting and research tool available to hunters and wildlife professionals ever created.”

The Pope and Young Club is a non-profit North American conservation and bowhunting organization dedicated to the promotion and protection of bowhunting by striving to increase awareness and appreciation of bowhunting foundations, principles and values. The Pope and Young Club is focused on Fair Chase hunting ethics that support the ethical pursuit of free-ranging, wild game animals without unfair advantage while promoting the conservation of both habitat and wildlife. The Club also maintains the universally recognized repository of records and statistics on North American big game animals harvested with a bow and arrow.
