State Trails Advisory Committee to Hold Funding Decision Meeting

Helena, MT) – The Montana State Trails Advisory Committee (STAC) will hold its Funding Decision meeting on Wednesday, April 17 from 9am to 5:45pm and Thursday, April 18 from 8am to 4pm at the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 3 Headquarters located at 1400 S. 19th Avenue in Bozeman, MT.

The committee will advise Montana State Parks staff on many trail-related topics, including FY 2019 Recreational Trails Program project proposals. STAC members represent both motorized and non-motorized trail user groups and provide advice and assistance for the Montana Recreational Trails Program.

The Montana Recreational Trails Program provides grant funding to support trail construction, trail maintenance and grooming efforts, as well as trail-related education so enthusiasts can enjoy trails throughout Montana.
