As of 5 pm 5-28-19 FWP announced that Cooney State Park is officially closed due to dangerous water and flooding until 8 am 6-5-19. The boat ramps are not useable. There is no assess to the lake. All campgrounds are closed. The Marshall Cove campground is completely under water. Those in charge are saying this is the worst flooding they have seen in 15 years. Cooney State Park is closed.
