BILLINGS – Gritty Stone Fishing Access site on the Yellowstone River northwest of Worden was restricted to walk-in traffic only Tuesday because of muddy conditions.
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks crews posted the entrance to the fishing access site after they determined that vehicles could not enter the site without becoming stuck or tearing up roadways. Traffic will remain restricted until conditions improve.
The muddy conditions appear to be the result of precipitation and runoff, not flooding from the river.
