Hungry Horse
Pay close attention to water levels and hidden stumps. Good Cutthroat action close to creek inlets. Royal pattern flies are working as well as nymphs. Panther Martin spinners are a great option as well.Lake Koocanusa
Trolling has been on fire for Rainbows and Bulls. For best results, troll with Cap’t Andy’s Trolling Flies. You can also use jointed Rapalas in a rainbow pattern.
Ashley Lake
Good Salmon fishing throughout the day. Try trolling with dodger spoon and a wedding ring. Also try jigging with a Swedish Pimple and a Rat Finke when over large schools.

Bitterroot LakeAnother good week for Salmon in a variety of depths. Reports say jigging is best with a glow white Hal with corn and maggots. Try trolling with planer boards using a bright colored flicker shad.Church SloughWater levels are rising but fishing has been slow. Pike should be hanging around heave weed beds. Use shallow diving crank baits. Small Perch in front of boat launch.Echo Lake
Water levels are still low so use caution. Bass fishing is doing well. Now is a good time to use crawdad plastics or worms and drag them across the bottom. Pike love spinner baits with a paddle tail trailer.

Flathead Lake
The trilling has really picked up. Try a Brad’s Cut Plug behind an e-chip flasher. Delta should really be good with the runoff finally here.

Flathead River
Past week’s temps have finally increased the flow. It’s fast and dirty. Silver and gold lures like Mepp’s work great with salmon eggs or maggots. Try nymphs as a dropper or by themselves for fly fishing.

Lake Mary Ronan
Perch fishing has been fair. Try in front of Camp Tuffit or State Park using a forage spoon with wax worms. Salmon has been slow so use an orange Hali with lots of maggots.

Thompson Chain
Upper – Bass have been OK. Use a square bill crank bait in a craw pattern.
Middle – Good Perch action early and late in the day. Use Pete’s Crappie Candy with a big eye spinner jig.
Lower – Great Pike fishing. Use whole smelt on a pike hanger under a bobber.

Lower Stillwater
Use live leeches in weed beds for larger Perch. Pike bite has been slow.

McGregor Lake
Good reports of Lake Trout in the 90ft range. Hot lure is the Red/White Flat Fish pulled behind an 8in e-chip flasher.
