2019 Summer Junior Ranger Days at Lone Pine State Park

(Kalispell, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) invites kids to discover nature at Lone Pine State Park. Join us for some outdoor fun this summer during Junior Ranger Days. Explore themes like “Forest Fun”, “Wacky Water” and “Summer Games” through activities such as hiking, crafts and games. Programs are offered for two age groups: Little Saplings (kindergarten – 2nd grade) and Coniferous Kids (3rd – 6th grade).

June: Forest Fun!
6/26- Little Saplings (K-2nd)
6/27- Coniferous Kids (3rd-6th)

7/10 & 7/17- Little Saplings (K-2nd)
7/11 & 7/18- Coniferous Kids (3rd-6th)

August: Summer Games!
8/7 & 8/14- Little Saplings (K-2nd)
8/8 & 8/15- Coniferous Kids (3rd-6th)

Lone Pine State Park is located 5 miles southwest of Kalispell and offers one of the most vivid views of the valley, 7.5 miles of trails, and a beautiful interpretive center that provides information on living in a wildlife urban interface.  Additional amenities include a picnic shelter and a community room, which are both available to rent, as well as a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, and an archery range. Furthermore, Lone Pine offers a fantastic variety of educational and interpretive programs.
