Evening Campground Programs at Flathead Lake State Park

Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) and Flathead Lake State Park invite you to join a ranger and explore what makes Flathead Lake so unique at their Evening Campground Programs.  Bring a camp chair or blanket to enjoy these 45-minute evening programs.  All programs start at 7:00 pm and are free for registered campers; otherwise, $4 per person or $10 per family.

Big Arm
Friday, June 14th – Bear with Me

Evening campground programs at the Big Arm Unit will be held between A and B loops in the campground by the beach below the yurts.

Evening campground programs at the Finley Point Unit will be held at the end of the day use area by the marina.

Evening campground programs at the Wayfarers Unit will be held at the upper area of the rocks.  From the campground, follow the trail between sites 11 and 13.  From the day use area, follow the trail to the left of the boat ramp when looking towards the water.

West Shore
Every Saturday, June 22nd – August 24th: Ranger’s Choice program

Evening campground programs at the West Shore Unit will be held in the day use area to the right of the dock.

Flathead Lake State Park consists of six unique park units located around Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. The park units on the east side are Wayfarers, Yellow Bay and Finley Point and the west side units are West Shore, Big Arm and Wild Horse Island. In addition to boating, swimming and fishing, each park unit offers unique experiences including camping, rental picnic shelters, group camping, hiking, sightseeing, picnicking, and wildlife viewing opportunities.
