The Captain fished with Ted Toavs from Wolf Point on Friday and Sunday on Fort Peck.  Then, he took out Dick Gondiero from Raynesford out on Monday.

Everyday, the fishing got better, and Monday was very good, as the Captain caught and released a 31-1/2 inch walleye, while Gondiero caught a 23-inch walleye when the two caught their limit.

Crawlers were the preferred bait, and 8-10 feet was the preferred depth. Trolling was at 1.2 miles per hour.  They fished out of Fort Peck Marina at the dam.

It’s time to get to Fort Peck and wet a line!
