We have a warming trend coming in this week which will lead to great fishing. Father’s Day is this Sunday, so get your Dad and take him Fishing! Sign up for Thompson Chain Father’s Days Tourney.

Ashley Lake
Reports of Rainbows being caught in shallower water. Cast a yellow/red dot Kamlooper spoon and a sporadic jig and retrieve pattern.

Bitterroot Lake
The Smallmouth action is heating up on the North end. Jerk baits are a great way to cover a lot of water. Salmon have been good as well.

Beaver Lake
Reports of a decent number of Rainbows. Try a Panther Martin with salmon eggs. Also use flicker shads.Echo Lake
Good Bass fishing this week. Shallow diving crank baits work well. Pike activity has also increased so use a 5 of Diamonds spoon.

Fennon Slough
Very good Perch fishing this past week. Water levels are on the rise and Bass are moving in shallow. Pike are loving the Husky Jerk in firetiger.

Flathead Lake
Delta has been doing well with the rising river flushing food downstream. Cap’t Andy’s flies in a black pattern seem to be the ticket. Reports of a few nice Perch in Somers Bay as well.

Flathead River
Water levels are still high so use caution when wading. A chrome or silver bladed Mepps Spinner is best with worms.

Horseshoe (Ferndale)
Great place to catch fish. Bass and Perch are doing well on crawdad plastics or a Rebel craw.

Hungry Horse Reservoir
Great Trout action near crossover bridge. Use East side road as West side has a section closed for bridge repair by Wheeler Creek.

Kootenai River (Libby)
Very nice fish about a mile down from dam. Throw a yellow/orange jointed Rapala in a pool with back flow.

Lake Mary Ronan
Great place to take Dad and catch lots of Perch. Use a green and white Forage Minnow tipped with maggots.

McGregor Lake
Smallmouth are hitting in shallow water on crawdad Missile Bait plastics Rig it weedless on Gamakatsu EWG 2/0 hook Texas rig for great bottom action.

Thompson Chain
Father’s Day Tourney coming soon. Sign up at Snappy’s and get Dad out there for fun! Pike fishing has been doing well on all three bodies. Perch are doing well in Middle as well as Rainbows. A few decent sized Salmon, but numbers are low.

Shady Lane Pond
Another good spot for the family. Rainbows and Bull Heads being caught from shore. Simple way to catch them is a worm under a bobber.
